We know our colors!
Hello Pre-K Families and Friends!
This week in the lab, we focused on our colors! We sang color songs and played a super fun color sorting game here. Our students are really, really good at naming their colors - we have such an impressive group of scholars!
On the individual computers this week, we are working with our mouse skills. In order to develop our skills in clicking and dragging the mouse, we played with an awesome program called Tux Paint. Tux Paint is totally free to download, and if you'd like to work with your child on it at home, you can download the software here. We do recommend the full screen version.
Next week, we are going to talk about shapes!
Volunteer training is on Thursday, September 6th at 9 am. We would love to have some parent volunteers in the computer lab to help us as we continue to develop our students computer literacy. If you need additional information about the training, please contact the front office.
As always, if you have any questions or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Warmly,
Christine Crawford and Sara Taylor
